The kitchen is fully equipped, including built-in microwave, stove/oven combination, dishwasher, blender, mixer, coffee maker, toaster, steamer, All-Clad pots and pans- everything you'll need. It's all top quality.
Eat in the dining room, where floor to ceiling glass provides spectacular close-up ocean views. You're so close to the ocean, you sometimes feel as though you're in it. The dining table is glass with four high quality rattan chairs. There 's a ceiling fan overhead. Two people can also sit at the bar/counter area off the kitchen. Seating there is on swivel barstools. The bar tops are white cashmere granite.
The trade winds create a great breeze in each bedroom. Not many condos in Poipu, Kauai stay as cool in the heat as this one does. Sleeping is a breeze! Each bedroom has one extremely comfortable king bed. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans. Two twin size floor mattresses are available for children.
The living room is spacious with floor to ceiling glass and the best ocean view in Poipu Beach. The surf pounds just outside the door. The furniture is all new Hawaiian style rattan. The carpets are top of the line and very plush. The artwork is as nice as you'll find in any vacation rental. If you like to snorkel, you'll love this spot. Off the lanai and off to the right where the sand beach begins, is great for snorkeling. Sunset Magazine once named this the best snorkeling spot on the south shore of Kauai. Diving lessons are also available at this location.
If you're into surfing, this is the hottest spot on the south side of the island. South swells create super surf action. Directly out the back are the surf spots know as Smokey's , PK's, Centers, and Acid Drop.
Those of you that plan to spend your vacation in Kauai golfing, Poipu offers some of the best golf courses on the island of Kauai. Every year the Grand Slam of Golf is held at the Poipu Bay Golf Resort, located adjacent to the Hyatt Regency. The Hyatt Regency is about a 4 to 5 minute drive from Kuhio Shores. The Kauai Sheraton is approximately a two minute drive from the condo.
Rates $225 nightly plus tax (11.42%). A cleaning fee of $85 is charged for stays of less than seven nights. A refundable $250 deposit will reserve your vacation accommodations. Holiday rates of $275 per night are charged for the nights of December 24 through January 2. Sixty days prior to your arrival in Kauai, payment in full is due.
